Tesifa Community is a Christ-centered organization in Tanga, Tanzania, devoted to building resilient and thriving communities through holistic support. We walk alongside individuals and families, offering guidance, resources, and care in childcare and education, food sovereignty, sexual and reproductive health, maternal and infant care, and spiritual growth. At the heart of our work is a belief in restoring dignity, nurturing potential, and creating opportunities that lead to lasting transformation.
FPCT–Tesifa Children’s Home
Within small, loving homes led by devoted caregivers, each child’s potential is recognized and nurtured. We provide food, shelter, education, spiritual guidance, and emotional safety so that children flourish in heart, mind, and spirit.
Kila Dada Initiative
Through education, mentorship, and menstrual health programs, the Kila Dada Initiative equips girls and young women to thrive in body, mind, and spirit. We nurture confidence, agency, and community support as foundations for lasting transformation.
Thayu Farm (Sustainability Project)
A community farm aimed at ensuring food security for the children's home while generating sustainable income. • Chicken Project: Collecting eggs for nutrition, hatching chicks, and selling for profit. • Goat Project: Raising goats for meat sales in the local market. • Dairy Project (Upcoming): Adding dairy cows to supply milk for children and boost income.
Kai.retu’s Birth Forest
A living ecosystem where birth, nature, and community flourish together. By combining biophilic design, food and medicine forests, traditional midwifery, and modern medical practices, we create spaces of love, learning, and holistic wellbeing from conception through postpartum.
